Registered Behavior Technician (RBT (c) ) Training Requirements and Curriculum

This training program is based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT credential. The program is offered independent of the BACB.

Requirements

• Degree in Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a Related Field
• Pass a Criminal Background Check
• 40 hours of training under a bacb certificant covering
• Mastery of 37 Core ABA Competencies Across 6 Domains
• Our RBTs must also complete in house training in Safety-Care and the Pyramid Approach to Education including the Picture Exchange Communication System for non-vocal learners
